Separate Subcontractor/ Supplier bids for the construction of: Gallatin County Courts Bids are due by 2:00PM (MST) Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 and will be read into record after 2:00PM (MST) on that same day. at the offices of Martel Construction, Inc. 1203 South Church, Bozeman, Montana 59715. Bids shall be delivered by U.S. Mail, Hand Delivered, or emailed to the Main Office address shown above or as follows: Email Bids to tragen@martelconstruction.com and tkabalin@martelconstruction.com RFI’s RFI’s will be accepted until 2pm on 8/2/22. All questions and responses will be provided via Addendum on the plan exchanges. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday July, 26 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the project site. The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Gallatin County Courts This is a new County Courts Building project. The structure consists of concrete, masonry, structural steel and structural metal framing. The building envelope is metal siding, membrane roofing, insulation, brick veneer, siding, aluminum windows, storefront, and curtain wall. Interiors will include metal framing drywall, paint, acoustic ceilings, doors and hardware, access control, millwork, finish carpentry, floor coverings, tile, operable partitions, specialties, elevators and MEP and Fire Sprinkler systems. The site work includes utilities, paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, snow melt, landscaping and stie and structure demolition. This work is to include all tools, equipment, materials and labor to complete this project. The contract documents, consisting of (2) two volumes of drawings and (2) two volumes of Project Specifications and any addendums published, may be examined at the office of Martel Construction, Inc. An electronic copy (CD) is available from the Construction Manager at no charge. Please also attach bidder’s own proposal form or scope letter for clarification and qualification purposes. Scope letters submitted at least 48 hours in advance of bids due are strongly encouraged. The bidder must supply all the information required by the bid documents and specifications. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and proof of insurance shall be provided to the Construction Manager as noted in the specifications. These requirements are included as part of the sample “Standard Form of Agreement between the General Contractor and Subcontractor. The subcontractor may be requested to provide a performance and payment bond. The right is reserved to reject any and all Bids received, to waive irregularities, to make an award of the contract for a period of not to exceed ninety (90) days, and to accept the most responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner. MT Prevailing Wages for 2022. The Contractor will be required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by Montana Department of Labor as referenced in the Contract. Contractor Registration. Contractors and any subcontractors doing work on this project will require registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-800-556-6694. Contractors are required to have been registered with the Department of Labor and Industry prior to bidding on this project.
